The Calathea Ornata, or “Peacock Plant”, features elegantly shaped green leaves that are stripped in pink, white and silver, with an underside coloured in deep purple. Native to South America, this vibrant indoor plant has the interesting habit of rising leaves in the morning and lowering them at night, with some referring to it as the “prayer plant”.

Care Tips
Light: The peacock plant enjoys bright light, but it’s best to avoid direct sunlight
Water: Keep the soil moist
Humidity: The peacock plant enjoys humidity! We advise misting the leaves every so often, and perhaps giving her a light shower from time to time
Feed: During spring and summer, fertilise the plant once every two to three weeks. Use our organic indoor plant fertilizer to keep your plant looking healthy!
Air Purifying: Yes!
Toxicity: Non toxic, but isn’t meant for human or animal consumption, so try and keep the cat from munching on the leaves

Sustainable Packaging
We’re conscious about our waste, and aim to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible. We place a protective paper bag around the pot, and pack the plant in a custom cardboard sleeve, before placing into your delivery box.
